Organize a fundraising event

Would you like to help the Missing Children’s Network raise awareness about the plight of missing children in Quebec by organizing a special event? The Missing Children’s Network, founded in 1985, is the only non-profit, humanitarian organization in Quebec dedicated to the search for missing children and to the prevention of their disappearances. The Missing Children’s Network receives minimal government funding and is not a Centraide-funded organization. We rely primarily on the generosity of individuals and corporations to ensure the pursuit of our critical mission.

Tax Receipts:

As the event organizer, you are responsible for keeping complete and accurate records on all your donors and supporters (including donor’s complete name, full address and telephone number). As per Revenue Canada ’s Rules and Regulations, this information must appear on all tax receipts.

The Missing Children's Network is not responsible for any commitments made by the organizing committee of your fundraising activity.

The Missing Children's Network is not responsible for selling tickets for your activity and cannot advance funds to cover expenses.

The Missing Children's Network reserves the right to cancel the project if, for serious reasons, it does not agree with the use of its name and logo.

The organizing committee releases the Missing Children's Network from any responsibility of any nature whatsoever related to the benefit activity, and assumes any litigation resulting from said activity.

All promotional and publicity materials relating to an event/activity supporting the Missing Children's Network as the designated charity must be approved by the Special Events Department of the organization.

The event shall be held according to all applicable laws and shall not prejudice the reputation of The Missing Children's Network .

The approval of your event from the Missing Children’s Network will be confirmed to you within ten (10) working days following your request.
